How we all got here...

The earliest known Sharps of this line came from the Horse Mountains area of Bedford Co. Tenn.  This was William Roberds Sharp Sr. & his wife Isabella who were married in Knox Co. March 11th 1807.  They & other members of the family are buried in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery on Morris Ln.  William R. Sharp Jr. & his wife Sarah 'Sallie' McGuire later moved to Maury Co. & established the home & church at Sharp's Corner off Carpenter's Bridge Rd. near the Duck River.  Sarah 'Sallie' McGuire was the granddaughter of the McGuires.  Their son Thomas & his wife Anna Lee were her parents who moved to Texas.  William R. Sharp Jr. & his wife Sarah are buried at Sharp's Corner Cemetery in Maury Co.
